The role of Maintenance Technician II at Magnaflow is a critical position within the company's manufacturing environment. This role involves installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, testing, and repairing industrial machinery and facility equipment across multiple systems such as mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and facility infrastructure. The Maintenance Technician II plays a key role in ensuring that equipment operates reliably and efficiently, minimizes downtime, and supports the production process, all while strictly adhering to OSHA and company safety standards. As Maintenance Technician II, the candidate will perform a wide range of tasks to maintain and improve equipment performance. This includes electrical system repairs involving motors, motor controls, variable frequency drives (VFDs), lighting circuits, transformers, control panels, and industrial wiring. Additionally, the technician will support facility infrastructure projects such as electrical installations, conduit routing, lighting upgrades, compressed air systems, and data/network cabling. Effective communication and teamwork are essential components of the role, as it involves working closely with machine operators and other team members to detect equipment problems, analyze malfunctions, and verify system issues.

The ideal candidate will have 2 to 5 years of industrial maintenance experience, strong mechanical skills, and hands-on exposure to electrical systems in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Associate degrees in engineering, industrial technology, or related fields are preferred, but equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered. The position demands proficiency in troubleshooting electrical circuits, interpreting schematics and wiring diagrams, and performing various electrical and mechanical repairs. The Maintenance Technician II should also possess a working knowledge of hydraulic systems, PLC-controlled equipment, industrial automation, and have experience installing electrical conduits and data cabling.
