Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Preferred experience in property maintenance or related field
- Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 60 pounds, climbing, and operating maintenance equipment
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to adhere to company policies and safety standards
- Flexibility to work varied schedules based on business needs
Job Qualifications
- Ability to identify cleaning and chemical supplies
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic skills such as measurement, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
- Ability to operate general office equipment including personal computer, telephone, photocopying machine, facsimile machine and postage machine
- Ability to frequently use general maintenance tools, supplies and equipment such as hand tools, pressure washers, blowers, paint equipment, pool chemicals, ice removal equipment, ladders, landscaping equipment, sandblasters, and safety equipment
- Ability to handle and use chemicals and general cleaning supplies
- Ability to frequently transport up to 60 pounds variable distances and access restricted spaces or heights over 8-9 feet
- Ability to frequently operate motorized vehicles such as cars, trucks, vans or golf carts
- Ability to frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb stairs or ladders
- Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance
- Schedule based on business needs and subject to change
Job Duties
- Maintain leasing office, models, and interior public and common areas in a neat, clean, and attractive condition
- Maintain all grounds including sidewalks, public walkways, stairways, building exteriors, and garden areas in a neat, clean and attractive condition
- Assist in efforts to make vacant apartment homes rent-ready in a timely manner
- Perform turnkey work as required
- Compact and remove trash and debris from community areas
- Complete assigned service requests and repairs consistent with company operating equipment and supply standards and in a timely manner
- Maintain company customer service standards by responding to resident requests and helping to minimize and resolve problems and complaints
- Ensure compliance with all applicable company policies, safety standards, and federal, state, and local laws including Fair Housing regulations
- Perform other tasks or duties as assigned by the supervisor
- Maintain professional appearance including adherence to dress code
