Job Description

This job opportunity is with a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee of McDonald's, one of the most recognized fast-food brands globally. Unlike working directly for McDonald's USA, this role is within a restaurant licensed to use McDonald's logos and food products but operated by a separate company and employer. This franchisee handles all employment-related matters locally, including hiring, scheduling, and employee supervision, ensuring a more community-focused and personalized workplace environment. McDonald's USA maintains no control over employment decisions, providing the franchisee full autonomy in these matters.

Joining this independent franchisee means becoming part of a dedicated team that values growth, excellent customer service, and operational excellence. McDonald's has built a reputation for consistent quality, delicious food, and a quick service experience that customers trust across the globe. This franchisee continues that legacy by delivering great food and memorable service moments, backed by strong values that nurture employee development and workplace satisfaction.

The position open is for a Maintenance Person, a crucial role that supports the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of the restaurant. This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in their work environment and want to contribute to a smooth operational flow. Responsibilities include maintaining interior and exterior cleanliness, ensuring that all equipment is in top working order, and supporting the overall maintenance needs of the restaurant. From filtering oil in fryers to cleaning windows and restrooms, taking out trash, and even light upkeep duties such as changing bulbs and clearing roof debris, the Maintenance Person helps keep the restaurant safe and welcoming for both staff and customers.

The role offers a flexible schedule that can fit personal and educational commitments, promoting a healthy balance between work and life. It also comes with competitive wages ranging between $13 and $16 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. Employees receive several benefits such as paid vacations after one year, educational opportunities including high school completion, college tuition assistance, and English as a second language classes. Moreover, medical, dental, and vision coverage are available to support employees' overall well-being.

Working here means enjoying benefits like free meals during scheduled shifts and uniforms provided by the employer. The restaurant fosters a positive workplace culture where team members can say yes to energy, purpose, and leadership development opportunities. It is a place where individuals can grow their skills, pursue career advancement, and be part of a dynamic industry where no two days are the same.

This position is not only about filling a role but becoming part of a team that encourages progression. From training in valuable job skills to access to retirement benefits, employees receive support to build a rewarding career path. If you are motivated, reliable, and eager to contribute to a successful restaurant operation, this opportunity stands out as an ideal fit. The franchisee invites those who want to take the next step in their career journey to apply and experience what it means to be part of a growing and supportive work environment.
