The available position is a Facility and Equipment Maintenance role located at the TJ Maxx 3PL (East) facility on 2000 Valley Brook Avenue, USA. This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $61,000 to $82,100 annually, with compensation tailored to the candidate’s experience and qualifications. The role is essential for maintaining the operational integrity of the building, equipment, and grounds by managing a wide variety of maintenance tasks including electrical systems, HVAC, conveyors, powered industrial machinery, and life safety equipment. Collaborative coordination with local contractors and vendors is a critical component to ensure timely service, adherence to contracts, and budget compliance.

This position involves a combination of hands-on technical expertise and project management responsibilities. The successful candidate will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Material Handling Equipment (MHE) within the facility, overseeing maintenance schedules, troubleshooting, and preventive care. Additionally, the role includes conducting routine facility inspections to identify and prioritize repair needs, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining comprehensive documentation and reporting. The candidate must interact effectively with 3PL leadership and operational teams to promote a culture of safety, accountability, and shared responsibility for maintaining building conditions and operational safety.

The position demands knowledge in various technical disciplines such as electrical, mechanical, construction, plumbing, and HVAC systems, along with familiarity with regulatory standards including OSHA and local fire and life safety codes. Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for inventory control and reporting is also advantageous.
