With a legacy of welcoming over 3 billion guests worldwide, Hilton embodies a vision to fill the earth with the light and warmth of hospitality. This dedication has earned Hilton repeated accolades, including being named on the World’s Best Workplaces list by both Great Place to Work and Fortune, underscoring its status as an award-winning employer. As a hospitality company, Hilton thrives on fostering a culture where team members are valued and supported through every stage of their career, offering significant opportunities for growth and personal development.
The Maintenance Supervisor role at Hilton is a pivotal position within the hotel’s operational team, charged with overseeing the maintenance and integrity of the hotel’s physical infrastructure. This includes managing critical systems such as mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and life safety, ensuring they meet stringent safety and regulatory standards at local, state, and federal levels. Beyond simply managing facilities, this role is about embodying Hilton’s core values—Hospitality, Integrity, Leadership, Teamwork, Ownership, and a focus on the Now—to ensure that every guest’s stay is safe, comfortable, and memorable.
As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for directing daily maintenance operations, assigning tasks to the maintenance team, and ensuring accurate documentation of all work performed. Managing relationships and quality control with external contractors is another key responsibility, guaranteeing that all contracted work meets Hilton’s high standards. The role also demands a responsive approach to various service requests, including emergency maintenance and guest concerns, showcasing the importance Hilton places on quick, effective problem resolution in the spirit of guest satisfaction.
Moreover, this leadership position involves actively developing, training, and supervising the maintenance team to cultivate a high-performing, motivated workforce. This role is more than technical oversight; it’s about spreading hospitality through leadership, teamwork, and ownership, thus positively impacting both guests and team members alike.
Hilton also offers a comprehensive suite of benefits to support its team members’ wellbeing and growth. Employees enjoy remarkable travel perks, including deeply discounted rates at Hilton properties worldwide, an employee stock purchase program encouraging financial investment in Hilton’s future, and generous paid parental leave options. Mental health resources and crisis support services demonstrate Hilton’s commitment to holistic employee care. Additionally, generous paid time off, diverse health and welfare benefits, and retirement plans highlight the company’s dedication to supporting team members’ long-term security and wellness.
Joining Hilton means becoming part of a company recognized for its extraordinary workplace culture and its continual efforts to set new standards in the hospitality industry. Whether at the start of your career or seeking new challenges, Hilton provides an environment where you can thrive, grow, and help create magical experiences for guests around the world.
