Job Description
Our hospitality establishment is a renowned hotel that prides itself on delivering exceptional guest experiences in a comfortable and well-maintained environment. With a commitment to quality service and operational excellence, the hotel serves a diverse clientele ranging from business travelers to vacationers seeking luxury and convenience. Our property features a broad array of amenities including guest rooms, public areas, dining facilities, and conference spaces, all designed to ensure our guests enjoy a seamless stay. We emphasize a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement to maintain the high standards expected by our guests and partners.
The Maintenance Supervisor role is pivotal to sustaining the hotel's reputation by managing the daily maintenance operations that keep the facility safe, attractive, and fully operational. This full-time position requires a hands-on leader responsible for overseeing a team of maintenance technicians to ensure all areas of the hotel are maintained at the highest standards. The supervisor manages work orders, executes preventative maintenance programs, and responds promptly to maintenance requests in guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas. Technical expertise in HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs is essential for this role, alongside strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize effectively.
As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will coordinate daily maintenance tasks, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with safety regulations such as OSHA standards. You will also act as the liaison with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs, ensuring quality and timely service. This role supports hotel operations and enhances guest satisfaction by quickly addressing urgent maintenance concerns and working collaboratively with housekeeping and front office teams.
Our ideal candidate brings 3 to 5 years of hotel or facility maintenance experience, preferably with previous supervisory responsibilities. Experience in performing guest room preventative maintenance, HVAC troubleshooting, and managing maintenance work order systems is required. Physical stamina to handle lifting, standing, walking, and working in various hotel operational areas is also necessary. Additional certifications, such as EPA HVAC and trade qualifications in electrical, plumbing, or HVAC, are highly desirable. Experience with recognized hotel brands like Marriott or Hilton is a plus.
This opportunity offers a chance to lead a critical hotel function with excellent benefits and a strong team environment. Join us to help maintain an exceptional hotel experience that guests remember and recommend.
