The Maintenance Supervisor role at Cintas is a full-time, regular employee position located within the Rental organization and operational on the first shift. This critical role is responsible for leading and managing all maintenance activities across Cintas facilities, with a focus on optimizing the functionality and reliability of production and facility equipment. The Maintenance Supervisor oversees mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, ensuring these assets operate efficiently and safely to support the company’s operations. In this role, you will manage the scheduling of maintenance tasks, including preventative maintenance programs, equipment work assignments, and emergency response efforts.

This position requires hands-on expertise in facility and equipment maintenance management, including planning, budgeting, negotiating with service and parts suppliers, and evaluating potential vendors. Supervisory duties include training, mentoring, and managing the maintenance team, maintaining adequate staffing levels, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement and safety compliance. The Maintenance Supervisor is also responsible for developing and implementing safety processes and procedures, preparing detailed maintenance reports, and managing parts and labor budgets to ensure cost-effective operations.

Ideal candidates will have at least five years of experience repairing industrial processing equipment in industrial or military environments, along with at least two years of supervisory experience. Strong knowledge of wiring, electrical and electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, and machinery is essential, as is experience with maintenance management systems and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. The ability to interpret maintenance literature and blueprints is also required. Preferred qualifications include boiler and HVAC experience, welding skills such as MIG, TIG, and ARC welding, and reliability certifications like CPMM or CRMP. The role demands physical ability to stand for up to seven hours during an eight-hour shift and the availability to be on call 24 hours a day.
