The Maintenance Supervisor role at Cintas is a critical leadership position tasked with overseeing all maintenance activities within the company's facilities. This full-time, regular position, primarily operating on the first shift, requires a hands-on leader capable of managing complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems and components. The supervisor will be responsible for improving the functionality and reliability of production and facility equipment, ensuring that all operations run smoothly and efficiently. This includes managing and scheduling facility and equipment work assignments, executing preventative maintenance tasks, and implementing safety processes that comply with industry standards and company policies.
In addition to technical maintenance duties, the Maintenance Supervisor will lead a team of maintenance professionals by providing training, mentoring, and supervision to ensure high performance and adherence to safety protocols. They will manage budgets related to building maintenance, capital expenditures, parts, and labor, ensuring optimal resource allocation. The role also includes preparing detailed maintenance reports, evaluating parts suppliers, negotiating contracts with service companies, and maintaining staffing levels to respond effectively to emergency situations. Job Requirements
- minimum 5 years experience repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial environment or in the military
- minimum 2 years supervisory experience
- knowledge of wiring, electrical, electronic components, pipe systems and plumbing, machinery
- maintenance management experience including planning, scheduling, budgeting, negotiating, parts management, vendor management and with maintenance management systems
- ability to read maintenance literature printed in English
- experience with blueprints and ability to read blueprints
- proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and intranet/internet
- ability to stand for up to 7 hours of an 8 hour shift
- ability to be on call 24 hours per day
- high school diploma or GED
Job Qualifications

- HVAC experience preferred
- prior experience performing welding activities including MIG, TIG, ARC, cutting and brazing preferred
- reliability certification such as CPMM or CRMP preferred
Job Duties
