Additionally, Maintenance Team Leaders play a pivotal part in cost efficiency by reducing waste, decreasing downtime, and implementing productivity initiatives. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 4-6 years' supervisory experience in manufacturing, preferably food industry
- Proficiency-level computer skills including MS Office
- Willingness to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work off ground level with proper safety equipment
- Capability to work in non-air-conditioned environments
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to follow written procedures
- Commitment to safety and compliance with company policies and government regulations
Job Qualifications
- 4-6 years' supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry
- High school diploma or GED required
- College degree or some college preferred
- Proficiency with MS Office and computer applications
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Ability to read English and follow written procedures accurately
- Experience in coaching and developing team members
Job Duties
- Win the shift by ensuring all aspects of the shift adhere to world-class standards for quality, efficiency, and safety
- Foster a culture of associate engagement by respecting, including, and empowering all associates
- Uphold and promote E5 leadership behaviors which include embrace the consumer, ensure operational capabilities, empower and involve, engage and develop, and expect ownership and accountability
- Identify issues, assign actions to appropriate team members, and follow up to ensure completion
- Coach associates towards an independent, problem-solving mentality
- Operate with a one team mentality by collaborating across departments to solve issues and ensure production schedules are met
- Prepare priorities for the team for upcoming shifts
