This Maintenance Specialist position, based in Santa Fe, California, offers an exciting opportunity to join the Novolex team immediately with a competitive hourly wage ranging between $31.76 and $37.94, paid weekly. This is a second-shift role operating from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM with a rotating schedule of two days off each week. The role is critical to ensuring the smooth functioning of manufacturing equipment, particularly the thermoforming machines that are integral to production.

The Maintenance Specialist will be responsible for routine preventive maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems, conducting equipment set-ups and tooling changeovers, and supporting production needs. This individual must be able to comply with strict safety regulations, wear appropriate personal protective equipment, and work independently as well as collaboratively alongside other maintenance and operations teams. Effective communication skills are essential to liaise with floor operators to identify equipment malfunctions and to report findings efficiently to management and technical groups.

Additional responsibilities include training other employees on maintenance protocols, maintaining accurate documentation, and operating machinery as required to support production continuity. A strong mechanical aptitude combined with basic electrical knowledge and the ability to interpret schematics and technical manuals is necessary to excel in this role.
