The role at Novolex is focused on supporting production lines within a work group to improve overall line reliability and case attainment. This position involves collaboration with various roles including Value Stream Managers, Work Group Leaders, Process Technicians, Maintenance Technicians, Line Technicians, and Set-up Technicians. The incumbent will play a key role in diagnosing and repairing electro-mechanical systems, troubleshooting electrical issues, and applying preventative maintenance strategies. They will also be responsible for training others, managing spare parts, maintaining necessary records aligned with established maintenance procedures, and ensuring a clean and safe work environment. Shift opportunities include both day (5:20 am to 5:30 pm) and night (5:20 pm to 5:30 am) shifts with three paid breaks, offering a competitive wage range from $35.13 to $39.78 per hour. With a primary focus on collaboration and continuous improvement, this role requires technical competence, strong leadership qualities, and the ability to communicate effectively within a cross-functional team. Candidates will engage in activities such as leading line improvements, designing experiments, handling emergency on-call support, and conducting root cause analyses to reduce repeatable failures.
