Morgan Properties is a prominent player in the multifamily real estate sector, owning and managing a vast portfolio that exceeds 400 apartment communities and more than 110,000 units across 22 states. It ranks among the top three largest multifamily owners nationally and is the largest owner in states such as Pennsylvania, Maryland, and New York. The company employs over 2,600 staff members, steered by its commitment to quick decision-making, strong capital relationships, and operational expertise. This robust foundation allows Morgan Properties to cultivate a dynamic and supportive work environment while focusing on long-term growth and resident satisfaction.\n\nThe role offered is that of a Maintenance Technician at a 352-unit apartment community managed by Morgan Properties. The position offers an opportunity to work within a company culture built around PRIDE values—Passion, Respect, Integrity, Development, and Entrepreneurial Spirit—which underscore teamwork, accountability, leadership, and continuous professional growth. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for addressing various repair and maintenance issues, including troubleshooting HVAC, appliances, carpentry, electrical, and plumbing tasks to ensure residents' homes remain in excellent condition. Responding promptly to service tickets, maintaining interior and exterior areas to comply with company standards and relevant laws, and communicating efficiently with residents and office staff are key components of the job.\n\nCompensation for this role ranges from $19.00 to $23.00 per hour, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) retirement plan with company match, generous paid time off that includes 10 holidays per year and sick leave, and additional incentives such as a rent discount of up to 50 percent, property staff shared renewal commissions, quarterly bonuses, and on-call appreciation pay. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with paid rotating on-call responsibilities to support emergency maintenance events. This position requires a valid driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, and the ability to live within 30 minutes of the property location. HVAC/EPA/CFC certification is preferred, while one year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Overall compensation may vary based on geographic location, skills, education, and experience.
