As part of the expanding team, Legacy Parking is currently seeking a hardworking, outgoing, and motivated Attendant/Porter. This part-time role is ideal for individuals who thrive outdoors in fast-paced and often busy environments and who enjoy interacting with a variety of people. The Attendant/Porter will play a critical role in managing vehicle traffic within garages, directing drivers to available spaces, and maintaining a clean, safe, and navigable parking environment. Responsibilities span from overseeing vehicle movements and ensuring pedestrian safety to maintaining cleanliness and addressing facility needs promptly.

The position requires excellent communication skills, a calm demeanor under pressure, and a team-oriented mindset. This role not only demands physical endurance to stand and walk for extended periods outdoors but also an acute awareness of safety protocols and customer service priorities. Job Requirements

Must be able to stand, walk, and work outdoors for the duration of the shift
Ability to remain calm and professional in high-traffic or fast-paced situations
Excellent verbal communication and people skills

Previous experience in parking and traffic control is strongly encouraged

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in parking or traffic control preferred
Strong verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments
Ability to provide excellent customer service
Reliable and punctual
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Duties

Direct and manage vehicle traffic at garage entrances, exits, and key congestion points
Provide guidance to drivers to help locate available parking spaces
Monitor garage capacity and communicate updates to the team
Support pedestrian safety by maintaining clear walkways and crosswalks
Deliver excellent customer service and respond to guest inquiries
Communicate with team members and supervisors to report issues or needs in real time
Sweep and clean garage floors, stairwells, and common areas to maintain a safe and tidy environment
Empty trash receptacles and ensure waste is properly disposed of throughout the shift
Identify and report any damage, safety hazards, or maintenance issues to supervisors promptly
Restock supplies such as cleaning materials and other facility necessities as needed
