Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling throughout the workday
- Ability to walk throughout the community for extended periods of time
- Position involves both light and heavy physical activity
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
- Exposure to cleaning chemicals, biohazard materials, animal dander, and latex
Job Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Willingness to learn and grow in building maintenance skills
- Previous maintenance, construction, or apartment maintenance experience preferred but not required
- Friendly, flexible, and dependable
- Organized and willing to jump in wherever needed
- Passionate about providing excellent service to seniors and families
Job Duties
- Assist residents with packages, groceries, and other requests as needed
- Complete trash and recycling removal throughout the community
- Support maintenance tasks including unclogging drains, cleanup, and hauling materials
- Assist with HVAC-related issues and basic troubleshooting
- Conduct routine security rounds throughout the property
- Help maintain building exterior and grounds appearance
- Set up and tear down for special events and community functions
- Maintain common areas through carpet cleaning, touch-up painting, staining, and floor care
- Clean shared spaces and public restrooms
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor
