SP+, a Metropolis company, is a leading artificial intelligence company focused on revolutionizing the parking industry through innovative computer vision technology. By enabling checkout-free parking experiences, SP+ eliminates the hassle of dealing with tickets, machines, apps, or credit cards, allowing customers to simply drive in and drive out seamlessly. As the largest parking network in America, SP+ employs over 23,000 individuals and operates at more than 4,000 locations across North America and Europe. This extensive presence positions SP+ as a pivotal player in redefining mobility and convenience for millions of people every day.
SP+ is committed to reinventing parking because it is an essential service that affects everyone’s daily life. Their mission extends beyond parking to creating checkout-free experiences that enhance everyday activities, making them more efficient and enjoyable. The company values giving back people’s most valuable asset: time. As a rapidly growing company embracing cutting-edge technology, SP+ offers a dynamic work environment where innovation, customer service, and operational excellence converge.
The Facility Maintenance position at SP+ involves critical responsibilities supporting the upkeep and smooth operation of parking facilities. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can perform maintenance duties as well as interact positively with customers. Employees in this role are responsible for performing cleaning, routine repairs, and upkeep of facility equipment to ensure a safe, appealing, and functional environment. Duties include cleaning all areas of the facility, maintaining equipment, painting surfaces, replacing bulbs, addressing oil spills, and managing safety checks.
Additionally, facility maintenance personnel observe and report any operational or safety issues, help resolve customer complaints, and occasionally cover other roles like cashier or attendant as needed. This position demands physical stamina as it involves tasks such as lifting heavy items, operating machinery for cleaning or snow removal, and working in varied weather conditions. The role offers a competitive hourly wage of $15.00 and provides opportunities to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends based on location needs.
SP+ emphasizes the importance of a professional appearance, excellent communication skills, adaptability, and good judgment in its employees. The company also promotes an inclusive and equal opportunity work culture, ensuring diversity and fair treatment across all job classifications. Eligible employees receive comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision insurance, retirement options like 401k, life and accident insurance, and paid time off, contributing to overall employee wellness and satisfaction.
Working at SP+ means joining a forward-thinking company committed to technology innovation and superior customer experiences, while supporting employee growth, safety, and work-life balance. Our facility maintenance employees are critical to delivering the clean, safe facilities our customers depend on. This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, customer-focused, and values working in a team that embraces new technology to transform everyday experiences.
