Job Description
SP+, a Metropolis company, is a leading artificial intelligence firm specializing in revolutionizing real-world parking experiences through advanced computer vision technology. Our innovative approach eliminates the need for traditional payment methods such as tickets, machines, apps, or credit cards, allowing customers to simply "drive in and drive out." As the largest parking network in America, we employ over 23,000 individuals who operate across more than 4,000 locations throughout North America and Europe, making us a significant mobility enabler in the parking industry.
At SP+, we are committed to reinventing parking by harnessing cutting-edge AI solutions. Parking is a universal necessity that impacts millions of people daily, and through our technology, we aim to transform this routine experience into something seamless and hassle-free. Looking ahead, our vision is to extend checkout-free technologies beyond parking, powering effortless everyday experiences across various facets of life including living, working, and playing. Our ultimate goal is to give people back their most valuable asset: time.
We are currently seeking a dedicated and proactive Facility Maintenance Technician to join our team in Austin, Texas. This role is essential in ensuring that our parking facilities operate smoothly, are well-maintained, and offer an exceptional customer experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, cleaning operations, equipment servicing, and assisting customers on site. While prior experience in maintenance is preferred, it is not mandatory for all positions; the ability to work independently and effectively with minimal supervision is vital.
As a Facility Maintenance Technician, you will be expected to follow carefully designed checklists and directions from the facility manager or supervisor to maintain cleanliness and operational efficiency across the facility. Your duties will include routine inspections, addressing repair needs, maintaining safety equipment, managing janitorial supplies, and ensuring a neat and orderly environment. This position demands physical stamina since tasks may involve lifting, climbing, sweeping, shoveling snow, and handling outdoor equipment. Your role will also involve engaging positively with customers, resolving their complaints, and adhering to the company's customer service values and safety protocols.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a visionary company that is leading the charge in technology-driven mobility solutions. Joining SP+ means becoming part of a diverse and inclusive workplace that values professionalism, adaptability, and innovation. The company stands firmly as an equal opportunity employer, committed to diversity and non-discrimination in all employment practices. If you are goal-oriented, enjoy hands-on work, and are looking for a role that combines technical maintenance with customer service, this job could be an excellent fit for you.
