This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the maintenance and smooth operation of parking facilities managed by SP Plus. As a Facility Maintenance staff member, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the physical environment of the parking locations remains clean, safe, and welcoming for customers. Your responsibilities will include performing routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, painting, equipment servicing, and reporting repair needs. You will interact directly with customers, addressing their concerns and ensuring a positive service experience, which is essential to SP Plus’s focus on customer satisfaction. This role requires an individual capable of working independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating adaptability to various maintenance tasks and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

The job offers a competitive hourly wage of $16.00 and involves working in a dynamic environment where your efforts directly impact the quality of service and the overall perception of the company. You will use a variety of tools and equipment, from brooms and mops to power sweepers and lawn maintenance tools, and handle physical demands like lifting up to 50 pounds and operating in all weather conditions. The position may require flexibility with shifts, including possible weekend or third-shift availability based on location-specific needs.
