This position entails inspecting, cleaning, and repairing various resort amenities such as area heaters, BBQs, fire pits, and pool area furnishings to ensure they are safe and fully functional for guests and associates. Additionally, the Maintenance Porter is tasked with power washing walkways and pool decks, organizing work assignments, and collaborating with other departments to keep the resort clean and free of trash. Familiarity with reading and writing, experience in the hospitality industry (preferably timeshare resorts), and the ability to work well in diverse team environments are highly valued. The position demands flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, and adherence to company policies, procedures, and performance standards. Physical stamina is essential as the role requires standing, walking, lifting, and performing various physical activities throughout an eight-hour workday. Grand Pacific Resorts emphasizes equal employment opportunities for all potential candidates and provides an inclusive workplace where everyone is treated with respect and fairness.
