Job Description

ResProp Management specializes in helping individuals find quality apartment homes and building vibrant communities through dedicated multi-family property management services. Established in 2010, ResProp has significantly grown to manage over 20,000 units and continues to expand steadily every day. The company prides itself on its emphasis on servant leadership and its commitment to recruiting top talent from leading innovative companies both within and beyond the multifamily housing industry. ResProp’s mission revolves around serving residents, community members, and property owners with exceptional management and care, ensuring a high quality living experience and preservation of property values.

The Maintenance Technician role at ResProp Management is integral to the company's commitment to maintaining safe, attractive, and functional living environments for its residents. This position is designed for individuals eager to grow professionally in property maintenance, with the opportunity to advance into supervisory roles through experience and ongoing training. The Maintenance Technician will primarily focus on plumbing-related work orders while also performing a broad range of maintenance tasks that keep properties in excellent condition. Responsibilities include addressing resident requests promptly, maintaining common areas such as pools, laundry facilities, clubhouses, and parking lots, and collaborating closely with the Maintenance Supervisor to prioritize daily tasks.

Beyond routine maintenance work, this role demands a strong customer service orientation, as the technician often interacts directly with residents, guests, and vendors. The technician ensures vacant apartments are prepared and move-in ready and works proactively to identify and resolve safety or hazardous conditions on the property. Use of technology and software for tracking work orders and performance is essential. The position requires physical capabilities including lifting and moving objects up to 50 pounds, and working varied hours including weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts.

ResProp offers a competitive compensation package with hourly pay ranging from $26 to $29, depending on experience and performance. Additional benefits include comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) retirement plan, paid time off, discounted rent at ResProp properties, and opportunities for profit sharing. This role represents a strong foundation for individuals committed to long-term career growth within the multifamily property management industry, supported by a company culture that values continuous feedback and development.
