The Maintenance Planner role at AdvanSix is crucial in ensuring the efficient scheduling and execution of all maintenance activities within designated facility areas. Job Duties
- Estimate and initiate work orders both mechanical and E/I
- prepare, forecast, and explain cost variance for outage work
- procure equipment and materials and outside services with focus on fixed price packages
- manage repairs, purchases, invoices, and receipts for outage work
- kit outage work
- review backlog outage maintenance notifications in SAP and progress P4 work orders ahead of outage
- develop and maintain mechanical maintenance documentation
- bill materials for outages
- develop and update job plans for specific repairs and equipment
- audit and retain shop papers and job history forms for mechanical maintenance
- communicate with area coordinators and mechanical first line supervisors on daily activities and work priorities
- oversee administrative tasks related to contractors including nested contractors
- perform other duties as required
