The Maintenance Planner role at AdvanSix is crucial in ensuring the efficient scheduling and execution of all maintenance activities within designated facility areas. The Maintenance Planner will be responsible for creating and executing maintenance schedules, preparing cost forecasts, coordinating material procurement, and managing vendor relations to support smooth operational continuity. Job Duties

  • Estimate and initiate work orders both mechanical and E/I
  • prepare, forecast, and explain cost variance for outage work
  • procure equipment and materials and outside services with focus on fixed price packages
  • manage repairs, purchases, invoices, and receipts for outage work
  • kit outage work
  • review backlog outage maintenance notifications in SAP and progress P4 work orders ahead of outage
  • develop and maintain mechanical maintenance documentation
  • bill materials for outages
  • develop and update job plans for specific repairs and equipment
  • audit and retain shop papers and job history forms for mechanical maintenance
  • communicate with area coordinators and mechanical first line supervisors on daily activities and work priorities
  • oversee administrative tasks related to contractors including nested contractors
  • perform other duties as required
