This full-time Engineering Supervisor position offers an hourly rate of $36.55 and calls for a dynamic professional who will lead the engineering team to maintain excellence in owner and guest service while ensuring the operational reliability and upkeep of the resort's facilities. The Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and preventative care of tools, appliances, and equipment essential to daily operations. Tasks include calibrating controls, gauges, and meters; identifying and managing all shut-off valves; and overseeing inventory and ordering of parts and supplies. The role encompasses critical safety tasks such as completing life safety checklists, running fire pump and generator tests, and inspecting fire sprinkler valves and alarm systems. Additionally, the Supervisor will contribute to disaster response protocol development to enhance preparedness.
This role emphasizes not only technical skills but also leadership and personnel management, as the Supervisor will assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating engineering staff. Essential physical demands include lifting objects up to 50 pounds independently and assisting with heavier weights, as well as navigating stairs, ramps, and ladders. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of experience in facilities or engineering maintenance
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Availability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Valid certification or training in safety procedures

Job Duties
- Supervise engineering staff to ensure excellent owner and guest service and facility maintenance
- Install, maintain, and perform preventative maintenance on tools, appliances, and equipment
- Calibrate controls, gauges, meters, and other devices
- Identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves
- Order, mark, and stock parts and supplies as needed
- Maintain inventory and purchase orders log
- Inspect tools, equipment, or machines
- Enter and locate work-related information using computers
- Operate power lift
- Complete life safety checklist including fire-pump and generator run tests
- Inspect fire sprinkler valves and alarm systems
- Assist in development of disaster response protocols
- Respond and attend to owner or guest repair requests
- Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating employees
- Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures
- Report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries
- Maintain a clean and professional uniform and appearance
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets
