As part of the broader Coca-Cola system, it is known for its commitment to quality, innovation, and sustainability within beverage manufacturing and distribution. Located in Abilene, Texas, this facility is a pivotal part of the company's production network, focusing on maintaining high production standards and efficient operation of its manufacturing lines to meet consumer demand.
This role, based at the 4800 Abilene, TX production site, is a vital position within the company’s maintenance and engineering team. The position is designed for an individual who can actively contribute to the smooth operation of the production lines by providing immediate troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and repair services. The work schedule follows a 2-2-3 shift pattern, operating from 5 PM to 5:30 AM, accommodating continuous production needs. The starting pay ranges from $24.86 to $30.38 per hour, depending on experience, with additional performance-based incentives, quarterly bonuses, referral bonuses, and comprehensive benefits enhancing the total compensation package.
The role extends beyond simple equipment repair; it demands a proactive approach to prevent downtime and optimize line efficiency. The incumbent will be responsible for mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, installation of new equipment, fabrication and rebuilding of parts, as well as conducting change-overs and line setups critical for production variations. Maintaining a clean and safe working environment aligns with the organization's commitment to employee safety and production quality.
This position emphasizes hands-on technical skills combined with an ability to work independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), the ability to interpret technical schematics, and basic computer proficiency are important aspects that support the job’s operational requirements.
