Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • Must be able to work in a variety of work temperatures warm, hot, humid, cold, wet or with slippery surfaces at varied heights in and around moving equipment and parts with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Hours vary based on production needs and extended hours may be required
  • Must be able to successfully complete training in safety, safe quality food (SQF), good manufacturing practices (GMPs), hazard analysis and critical control point (HACCP), standard operating procedures (SOPs), and food defense

Job Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • Ability to work in various temperatures including warm, hot, humid, cold and wet conditions
  • Willingness to use personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Ability to work variable hours and extended shifts as needed
  • Must successfully complete safety and quality trainings including Safety, SQF, GMPs, HACCP, SOPs, and Food Defense
  • Prior maintenance experience preferred
  • Prior production experience preferred
  • Work history in the last 12 months preferred

Job Duties

  • Assist higher level mechanics with duties such as servicing, repairing, adjusting and testing machines, devices, moving parts and equipment
  • Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on facility machinery including greasing, changing bearings and replacing worn parts
  • Repair and replace conveyor belts
  • Turn off and lock out/tag out equipment when not in use
  • Complete required maintenance and repair paperwork
  • Notify lead or supervisor of any malfunctions or repairs needed
  • Perform other related duties as required
