The Maintenance Mechanic position available for the 2nd shift (1:30 pm to 10:00 pm) provides an exciting opportunity to join the growing CPP team at their aerospace manufacturing facility in Cudahy. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will be an integral part of the team responsible for ensuring the optimal functioning and safety of critical equipment. This full-time role offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $33 to $38 based on experience, with an additional $2.50 shift differential for evening hours. As a Maintenance Mechanic at CPP, the individual will be expected to troubleshoot and repair various electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic equipment, prioritizing safety and compliance with all company protocols. The role includes performing scheduled preventative and predictive maintenance, as well as emergency repairs across the plant’s systems. Fabrication work using machinery such as lathes, mills, and welding equipment is also part of the daily responsibilities.
