The Maintenance Mechanic role at CPP is a vital position responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment used in production. In this position, the Maintenance Mechanic will play a crucial role in performing troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of various manufacturing equipment to reduce downtime and maintain a safe working environment. The candidate will prioritize safety-related work orders, perform scheduled preventive and predictive maintenance, and execute emergency repairs. The role also involves fabrication tasks requiring skills in lathe and mill operation along with welding, particularly MIG and stick welding. Candidates must be flexible to work overtime and weekends as needed to support plant operations. Additionally, this position requires knowledge and experience working with PLCs and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) as well as proficiency in electrical testing equipment and mechanical hand tools.
