As a large-scale operator with a strong national presence, US Foods continuously embraces new technologies and sustainable practices to remain a top choice for foodservice solutions across the country.

The role offered is that of a Warehouse Equipment Mechanic, vital for maintaining and repairing all warehouse-related equipment such as pallet jacks, highlifts, forklifts, and batteries to ensure smooth day and night warehouse operations. This employment opportunity typically requires a mix of mechanical aptitude and hands-on skills and is suited for candidates comfortable working independently and communicating effectively with warehouse staff and external vendors.

This position emphasizes safety and accountability, making it essential for candidates to have knowledge of equipment operations and repair techniques, basic welding skills, and the ability to maintain accurate documentation. The work environment includes physical duties like lifting various weights, frequent standing and walking, and occasional climbing or bending, making physical fitness a consideration. While the job requires some prior mechanical experience, additional training or vocational education can enhance candidate success. US Foods values employees who demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to maintaining their warehouse infrastructure. This role offers the chance to contribute to a leading foodservice distributor while gaining valuable hands-on mechanical and maintenance experience in a fast-paced logistics setting.
