Job Description

It offers full-time employment on the second shift with competitive compensation starting at $29.25 per hour, plus a 50-cent differential.

The role focuses on industrial maintenance, a critical function that supports production by ensuring machinery operates efficiently and safely. The maintenance technician is responsible for operating standard maintenance tools including power tools and electrical testing equipment, repairing and rebuilding gearboxes, aligning belt and chain drive setups, and troubleshooting production equipment. The role demands the ability to interpret mechanical and electrical schematics effectively and utilize maintenance management systems to document work activities accurately. This position requires a candidate who is equipped with skills in basic cutting, grinding, welding, and possesses knowledge of electronics, fabrication, electrical systems, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

Previous industrial maintenance experience or experience with Cargill will be considered favorable. This position does not include relocation reimbursement. Job Duties

  • Effectively and safely operate standard maintenance tools such as power tools, basic hand tools and electrical testing equipment
  • Repair and rebuild various gearboxes according to manufacturer specifications
  • Properly align belt and chain drive setups
  • Repair and troubleshoot production equipment
  • Read and understand mechanical and electrical schematics
  • Utilize maintenance management systems
  • Perform basic cutting, grinding, and welding
  • Document daily work assigned on paper and in maintenance management system
  • Follow prescribed safety rules and regulations as well as other departmental policies and procedures
  • Identify problems and make suggestions to improve operational processes
