The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic position at Novolex, located in Raleigh, NC, is a vital role designed for candidates seeking immediate employment with a rewarding career path. This position offers a competitive starting pay ranging from $31.31 to $37.20 per hour, contingent on experience and qualifications, alongside a $5,000 sign-on bonus. Employees will work 12-hour rotating shifts, alternating between day (7A-7P) and night (7P-7A) schedules, supporting operational needs and ensuring continuous production efficiency.

The primary role of the Industrial Maintenance Mechanic includes maintaining and repairing production and packaging equipment to meet company safety, quality, and production standards. This position requires expertise in diagnosing mechanical issues, conducting repairs, and performing preventative maintenance on a variety of equipment including pneumatic and hydraulic systems, gearboxes, bearings, belts, chains, rollers, and pumps. The mechanic will also read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders, execute simple machinist skills, and utilize a range of hand and power tools.
