The role of Maintenance Manager at HelloFresh plays a critical part in maintaining operational excellence within the fulfillment center. Reporting to senior leadership, the Maintenance Manager will lead the maintenance and reliability efforts for assigned buildings, ensuring automation systems, manufacturing equipment, electrical and refrigeration units, forklift equipment, and overall facility upkeep are meticulously managed. This position requires a hands-on leadership style focused on motivating and coaching a team of technicians and associate managers, fostering an environment that encourages feedback and continuous improvement from all team members.

Responsibilities include managing maintenance-related processes, overseeing contractor and vendor relationships, handling planned and emergency repairs, and enforcing compliance with safety and maintenance regulations. The Maintenance Manager collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, providing project management support and spearheading initiatives aimed at boosting operational efficiency within the fulfillment center.

Ideal candidates are those with a strong background in facilities maintenance and operations, specifically within the food, beverage, perishables, or distribution industries. Proven experience leading diverse teams, a high degree of integrity, and proficiency with OSHA regulations and compliance are essential. Moreover, candidates should be comfortable working in variable environments, including cold storage areas, and exhibit flexibility in work schedules, including weekends, holidays, and night shifts. This role demands a strategic thinker who is bold, agile, decisive, and customer-centric, capable of adapting quickly in a fast-paced, dynamic environment reminiscent of startup culture.

The position offers an attractive salary range of $77,175 to $89,250 USD for the Arizona region, reflecting the importance and complexity of the role within HelloFresh’s operational landscape. Candidates with a Bachelor's degree are preferred, although a high school diploma or GED is required.
