Maintenance Lead

This job posting is for a Maintenance Lead position within a group of restaurants owned and operated by an independent franchisee licensed to use McDonald's logos and food products. The Maintenance Lead will serve in a full-time capacity with an annual salary of $50,000 and must be able to travel reliably between multiple locations including Temple, Leander, Georgetown, and Round Rock. Reliable transportation is essential due to the multi-site nature of the role.

Beyond the routine upkeep of the facilities, this role includes specialty tasks such as roof condition inspections involving ladder climbing, regular filter replacements, coil cleaning, and belt changes as part of the preventive maintenance schedule. A critical aspect of the position is maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations by performing weekly safety and security checks of both interior and exterior restaurant spaces, ensuring all security measures are functional with the cooperation of all team members. The Maintenance Lead is also responsible for training staff on equipment handling, safety protocols, and efficient maintenance techniques through videos and hands-on instruction.

This role demands a leader capable not only of technical maintenance but also of managing teams, troubleshooting complex equipment issues, and communicating effectively across departments to meet operational goals.
