The Maintenance II position at Green Bay Dressed Beef, LLC is a vital role to ensure the smooth operation of machinery and building systems within the plant. The role involves identifying and locating parts using machinery manuals and parts catalogs for equipment such as Cryovac machines, overhead chains, rail switches, conveyors, and saws. The successful candidate will perform basic welding, primarily tig welding but also some mig and stick welding, with the ability to distinguish between good and bad welds. Routine preventive maintenance duties are key in this role, including greasing bearings, lubricating parts, checking fluid levels, and replacing filters to prevent machine downtime and maintain efficient building operations.

Additional responsibilities include assembling, installing, or repairing plumbing and machinery components to uphold the integrity of equipment and physical structures. Basic maintenance of forklifts, including tasks like changing tires and replacing bushings, also falls within the scope of this position, alongside performing basic hydraulic maintenance such as changing motors and hose repairs. Attention to detail is crucial with the completion of necessary paperwork such as preventive maintenance sheets and work orders.
