Job Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- vocational or technical background
- minimum 2 years of hotel engineering or maintenance experience
- universal chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) certification
- valid driver’s license
- ability to lift objects up to 50 pounds
- capable of working overnight shifts
- knowledge of safety policies and procedures
- ability to use hand and power tools safely
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent

- at least 2 years of hotel engineering or maintenance experience
- universal chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) certification
- valid driver’s license
- proficiency in multiple maintenance disciplines such as air conditioning, refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing
- knowledge of safety and security policies
- working knowledge of engineering computer programs
- ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds
Job Duties
- Respond to guest repair requests
- communicate with guests to resolve maintenance issues
- perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment
- visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines
- maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies
- perform repairs across multiple trades including plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
- use Lockout/Tagout system before maintenance work
- program TVs and conduct general housekeeping and engineering-related duties
- train and mentor junior engineers
- perform Engineer on Duty responsibilities including readings and rounds
