The Maintenance Technician operates under the direction of the Chief Engineer or hotel management, following established safety policies and departmental procedures to ensure a safe and efficient workspace. The job demands an individual who is proactive in addressing issues before they escalate, diligent in maintaining a clean and safe environment, and cooperative with other staff members to ensure seamless operations.

The Maintenance Technician will participate actively in preventative maintenance programs aimed to minimize disruptions to hotel operations and maximize equipment lifespan. Additionally, this role requires keen observation and communication skills to report emergency or unusual situations immediately and to follow up on any necessary major repairs with the Director of Engineering. This position is vital in protecting the property and ensuring guests have a positive experience unmarred by maintenance concerns.
