The Maintenance / Custodial position is vital for maintaining the cleanliness and operational safety of facilities throughout the community. This full-time role demands a hands-on and versatile individual capable of performing a variety of duties including lawn care, grounds maintenance, snow removal, and minor building repairs. Working hours are set from 10 am to 6 pm with a paid 30-minute lunch break, making it manageable for individuals seeking stable and reliable employment. The pay scale for this role ranges between $16.50 and $18.50 per hour and is competitive depending on previous experience. The role offers an immediate start and requires readiness to occasionally work overtime during inclement weather conditions, with overtime compensated accordingly.

This position also requires a valid New York State driver's license and dependable transportation, highlighting the need for mobility to attend different locations or run errands as needed. Candidate responsibilities also include maintaining equipment and tools daily and seasonally, participating in janitorial work when necessary, and assisting with special projects that may arise. The role expects the candidate to have the physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds routinely.
