The role of a Maintenance team member at The Parking Spot is vital in ensuring that all facilities maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and safety. The Maintenance staff are responsible for keeping the environment welcoming and well-maintained by following established standard operating procedures. This position is part-time and spans afternoon and evening shifts, with a pay rate of $19 per hour plus tips, both cash and mobile, alongside regular bonus opportunities. Maintenance team members act as frontline ambassadors who help uphold the company’s reputation for quality service.

In this role, team members will be tasked with various duties including sweeping, mopping, cleaning lobbies and offices, daily facility inspections, and general upkeep. They must maintain a clean and pleasant facility environment by managing trash disposal and ensuring proper functioning of safety-related equipment such as shuttles, gate arms, and security measures. Maintenance employees are expected to report any violations of company policies, safety hazards, or unusual incidents to Facility Managers promptly.

Furthermore, team members collaborate closely with other departments to provide comprehensive support and outstanding service to both internal and external guests. This includes helping in other capacities and departments as needed, conducting maintenance supply inventories, and possibly cross-training for other frontline roles. If you have a high school education or equivalent, prior housekeeping or maintenance experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to communicate effectively in English, this part-time Maintenance role might be an excellent fit. The position requires physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and work in outdoor weather conditions. Supervisory experience is preferred but not mandatory.
