This role is a Maintenance Technician position with an hourly wage range of $23.00 to $25.00. The exact pay offered will depend on the applicant’s experience, abilities, skills, geographic location, and how well they align with market standards. This employment opportunity involves routine preventive maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of building systems and mechanical equipment. The candidate will be responsible for inspecting and maintaining HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other mechanical systems to ensure operational efficiency. This includes managing building safety systems such as fire alarms and sprinkler systems to maintain safe environments.

The Maintenance Technician will diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues promptly, respond to maintenance service requests, and address equipment malfunctions by performing necessary repairs or replacements. Maintaining and repairing equipment such as motors, pumps, air compressors, and HVAC units is a key responsibility. In addition, the technician will ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained and securely stored while keeping accurate records of maintenance and repairs.

Safety is a fundamental priority for this role, requiring strict adherence to all safety regulations and procedures to preserve a secure working environment. The technician must report unsafe conditions or practices and ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding building and equipment maintenance. Administrative duties include completing assigned trainings, expense reports, and assisting with reading RFPs, creating scopes, and estimates.

Collaboration plays an essential role, where the technician will work closely with account and project managers, contractors, and vendors to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure quality control. The technician may also support facility inspections, audits, and special projects as assigned, contributing to the seamless operation and upkeep of facilities.
