Job Description

The MPMC McDonald's Organization is a locally owned McDonald's franchise serving the San Gabriel Valley since 1967. With 13 store locations spread across Pasadena, Altadena, Arcadia, Temple City, Rosemead, El Monte, Duarte, Irwindale, Pico Rivera, and Monrovia, this organization has built a strong community presence and is recognized for its commitment to excellent customer service and employee development. As a leading franchisee, MPMC McDonald's offers a vibrant and dynamic work environment where employees are encouraged to learn, grow, and succeed both professionally and personally. The company invests heavily in providing industry-leading education programs and world-class training to empower its team members with valuable skills that are transferable beyond the restaurant setting. This unique approach underlines their dedication not only to the business but also to the personal advancement of their employees, making McDonald's an ideal place for those seeking their first job or looking to build a career.

This role is an essential part of the restaurant operations, offering an hourly wage starting at $20.75 to $22.00, with additional cash incentives to reward performance. The position focuses on maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall upkeep of the accessible areas within the restaurant, ensuring an outstanding experience for both customers and team members. Employees will be entrusted with managing deliveries, replenishing necessary stock, and performing routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment and building systems. The role demands high standards of food safety and storage, contributing significantly to the restaurant's excellence and smooth functioning.

In addition to the core responsibilities, the role requires proactive involvement in tasks such as filtering oil fryers daily, maintaining the outside grounds, cleaning various equipment, and managing waste through emptying the trash compactor. The maintenance of critical operational elements like HVAC and exhaust units, including cleaning the roof of debris, is also expected. This multifaceted position calls for a humble and hospitable demeanor paired with strong organizational skills and a problem-solving mindset. Employees will benefit from the supportive company culture that emphasizes flexibility, education, and career development opportunities, including free employee meals, uniforms, flexible hours, comprehensive benefits for eligible employees, and tuition assistance programs.

Joining the MPMC McDonald's team means becoming part of a company that values diversity, inclusivity, and equal opportunity. The organization is committed to accommodating individuals with disabilities and promotes a respectful work environment free from discrimination. While this franchisee operates independently from McDonald’s USA, it upholds the brand's standards and provides employees with a workplace where respect and growth are prioritized. If you are looking for more than just a job, but a place to develop lifelong skills and advance your career potential, this maintenance role offers a unique opportunity to be involved in a reputable and community-focused organization.
