This job opportunity is with a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee licensed to use the McDonald’s brand logos and food products. Unlike corporate McDonald’s USA locations, this restaurant is independently managed, which means the franchisee owns and operates the business, overseeing all employment matters including hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling. McDonald’s USA does not have control over these processes at the franchise location, ensuring a distinct management structure separate from the corporate entity.

As part of this independent franchise, the restaurant is staffed by dedicated individuals who uphold the high standards associated with the McDonald’s brand while operating under the leadership of the local franchise owner. This setup allows for personalized management and community-focused service, while maintaining the consistency and quality that customers expect from McDonald’s establishments worldwide.

The Maintenance Person role is pivotal in ensuring the restaurant maintains outstanding cleanliness both inside and out, as well as keeping the restaurant equipment in proper working condition. This position is essential for creating a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for customers and team members alike. The Maintenance Person works closely with the management team and is supported by the tools, resources, and training provided by the franchise to ensure success on the job.

In this role, you will be responsible for a range of maintenance tasks including the daily filtering of fryer oil, upkeep of exterior grounds, and cleaning equipment, windows, stock rooms, and restrooms. Additionally, the position requires unloading the delivery truck twice a week, emptying the trash compactor, replacing light bulbs, and cleaning HVAC and exhaust units along with roof debris removal. These duties contribute significantly to operational efficiency and the overall customer experience.
