We invite you to join our team as a General Manager at one of our esteemed properties, Mainstay by Choice Murfreesboro, located in the vibrant and historic city of Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Known as the Most Livable Town in Tennessee, Murfreesboro offers a unique blend of historical charm, a thriving local business scene, cultural attractions, and educational institutions such as Middle Tennessee State University.
As the General Manager, you will be the central figure in guiding all aspects of our hotel's operations to success. Your role is comprehensive and dynamic—leading operational management, maximizing financial performance, enhancing guest satisfaction, and ensuring compliance with industry and company standards. You will be responsible for boosting revenue, managing budgets effectively, and implementing proactive sales strategies that secure new business and strengthen existing relationships.
You will excel as a financial steward, or 'Money Maestro,' cutting costs and optimizing revenue channels to keep the property profitable and competitive. Your sales acumen will be demonstrated as a 'Sales Superstar,' where you craft and execute sales plans, oversee the budget, and engage with key accounts to sustain high booking volumes.
Your expertise with operational systems and technology will streamline workflows and enable data-driven decision-making, earning you the title of 'Systems Whiz.' When it comes to guest interactions, you will shine as the 'Guest Guru,' handling guest concerns with grace and turning every stay into a memorable five-star experience.
As a 'Team Captain,' you will inspire and develop staff through effective coaching and leadership, fostering a motivated and high-performing team. Additionally, your role as a 'People Connector' will see you building meaningful relationships not only within the team but externally with property owners, community leaders, and partners, representing the hotel as its ultimate ambassador.
The position requires a candidate with substantial experience in hotel or related fields, ideally with at least six years of progressive management experience or equivalent educational credentials paired with relevant work history. A valid driver’s license for the applicable state is mandatory.

Job Requirements
- at least 6 years of progressive experience in hotel or related field or a 4-year college degree with 4 to 5 years of related experience or a 2-year college degree with 5 to 6 years of related experience
- valid driver’s license for applicable state
