Job Requirements
- Completion of Radiology program
- ARRT-R credential
- Obtain ARMRIT or ARRT-MR certification within 12 months of hire
- BLS certification
- Minimum 1-3 years MRI experience preferred
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods
- Ability to lift, push, and pull over 100 pounds
- Ability to move and transfer patients
- Exposure to blood and body fluids
- Adherence to safety and infection control policies
- Willingness to work weekend shifts
- Effective communication skills
Job Qualifications
- Completion of Radiology program

Job Duties
- Performs magnetic resonance imaging examinations
- Provides MR safety screening for patients, visitors, and staff
- Produces quality images consistently
- Assesses vein/site selection and initiates venipuncture
- Observes departmental policies, safety, and infection control standards
- Prepares required written documentation accurately
- Uses hospital radiology systems and maintains confidentiality
- Provides service excellence by delivering courteous and respectful patient care
- Participates in continuing education and departmental meetings
- Communicates effectively with medical staff, patients, and coworkers
- Practices teamwork and maintains a clean, safe work environment
- Provides age-appropriate care to patients
- Responds quickly to requests and complaints
- Performs specialized care including restraint and pain management
