Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 2 years of food production experience
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Ability to operate high-speed production lines
  • Experience with pallet handling and forklift operation
  • Familiarity with packing, filler, and palletizer machines
  • Competency in reading production schedules
  • Basic computer skills in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of sanitization and good manufacturing practices
  • Reliable attendance
  • Ability to work in a team environment

Job Qualifications

  • 18 years or older
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • A minimum of 2 years of food production experience required
  • Experience with high-speed production lines such as high output, high performance equipment, fast paced production environment
  • Experience with pallets including operating a forklift, stacking/bundling product
  • Experience operating a packing machine including stacking, bundling, and wrapping product
  • Experience operating a filler machine including ensuring the right mix of product, operating a production computer
  • Experience operating a palletizer including building pallets, managing product changeovers
  • Experience reading schedules such as products being produced, understanding production requirements, production planning, managing changeovers
  • Experience with computers in a manufacturing setting including electronic settings, line speed, pressures, basic troubleshooting, solving faults/alarms and resetting equipment
  • Experience with sanitization including basic procedures/steps, good manufacturing practices in a food plant, identifying risks

Job Duties

  • Operate and monitor production lines to ensure efficiency
  • Remove or shift materials and/or finished products to facilitate proper flow
  • Ensure package and product quality
  • Perform preventative maintenance
  • Operate all manufacturing equipment including new technologies efficiently and safely
  • Clean equipment and area before, during, and after shift
  • Maintain clean work area through good housekeeping practices
  • Expedite repairs to line, working with maintenance as necessary
  • Keep daily records of downtime and machine operations
  • Work well with others in a team-oriented atmosphere
  • Regular, reliable, predictable attendance
  • Other duties as required
