Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years of food production experience
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to operate high-speed production lines
- Experience with pallet handling and forklift operation
- Familiarity with packing, filler, and palletizer machines
- Competency in reading production schedules
- Basic computer skills in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of sanitization and good manufacturing practices
- Reliable attendance
- Ability to work in a team environment
Job Qualifications
- 18 years or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- A minimum of 2 years of food production experience required
- Experience with high-speed production lines such as high output, high performance equipment, fast paced production environment
- Experience with pallets including operating a forklift, stacking/bundling product
- Experience operating a packing machine including stacking, bundling, and wrapping product
- Experience operating a filler machine including ensuring the right mix of product, operating a production computer
- Experience operating a palletizer including building pallets, managing product changeovers
- Experience reading schedules such as products being produced, understanding production requirements, production planning, managing changeovers
- Experience with computers in a manufacturing setting including electronic settings, line speed, pressures, basic troubleshooting, solving faults/alarms and resetting equipment
- Experience with sanitization including basic procedures/steps, good manufacturing practices in a food plant, identifying risks
Job Duties
- Operate and monitor production lines to ensure efficiency
- Remove or shift materials and/or finished products to facilitate proper flow
- Ensure package and product quality
- Perform preventative maintenance
- Operate all manufacturing equipment including new technologies efficiently and safely
- Clean equipment and area before, during, and after shift
- Maintain clean work area through good housekeeping practices
- Expedite repairs to line, working with maintenance as necessary
- Keep daily records of downtime and machine operations
- Work well with others in a team-oriented atmosphere
- Regular, reliable, predictable attendance
- Other duties as required
