Job Description
Casa de las Campanas is a premier senior living community located in the picturesque area of Rancho Bernardo, California. Known for its upscale resort-style living, the community emphasizes a balanced lifestyle that embraces the scenic surroundings and a warm, engaging environment. As a part of Life Care Services, Casa de las Campanas takes pride in delivering exceptional hospitality paired with high-quality senior care, creating an environment where residents feel valued, supported, and motivated to enjoy their retirement years fully. The community fosters a unique blend of social interaction, outdoor activities, and professional health services, making it a standout option for senior living in Southern California.
We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our dedicated assisted living team. This role is essential in maintaining the health and well-being of our residents by providing basic therapeutic, restorative, and preventive nursing care within the guidelines established by the Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly (RCFE) regulations. The LVN is responsible for collaborating closely with residents, families, physicians, and caregivers to develop and implement individualized care plans that support the independence and dignity of each resident. This role also involves supervising the care staff to ensure compliance with community policies and state regulations, while fostering a caring and patient-centered approach to service delivery.
As part of the Casa de las Campanas team, you will enjoy a competitive pay rate ranging from $36.00 to $39.00 per hour, with additional differentials of $1.25 per hour for evening shifts and $1.50 per hour for night shifts. The position follows a weekend schedule, with shifts running from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM and 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM on Saturdays and Sundays. Beyond compensation, the community offers an employee appreciation bonus funded by residents, a 403(b) retirement plan with employer match, and access to DailyPay for financial flexibility. Monthly employee engagement activities further enhance the work environment, making it both engaging and fun.
This role requires a licensed professional who demonstrates strong communication, clinical, and leadership skills with a compassionate, patient-focused approach to care. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, values teamwork, and is committed to upholding the hospitality promises of the community, which include respectful, attentive, and professional interactions with residents and colleagues. If you are looking to be part of a supportive team that genuinely cares about its residents' quality of life and values your contributions, Casa de las Campanas provides an enriching and rewarding place to advance your nursing career.
