As a member of our team, you will hold an essential role as a Guest Service Associate, responsible for providing exceptional hospitality services in a friendly, efficient, and attentive manner. This role involves parking and safely retrieving guest vehicles while assisting with luggage delivery and pickup when applicable. You will be the face of Towne Park to our guests and clients, offering information on local amenities, assisting with transportation needs, and ensuring smooth operations in the parking and valet system. The job offers flexible overnight shifts and hybrid AM/PM shifts, with an hourly base pay between $18 and $19, reflecting our commitment to competitive and fair compensation. The Guest Service Associate position emphasizes courteous, professional, and personalized guest interactions, including greeting guests with their last names and adhering to proper phone etiquette. Responsibilities include managing parking ticket information, calculating fees, and assisting guests with inquiries regarding parking rates and hotel amenities. Towne Park supports its employees by ensuring a safe and pleasant work environment, including the physical demands of handling luggage and operating vehicles, sometimes under challenging environmental conditions. The role requires frequent interaction with guests and colleagues, fostering a team-based and customer-centered approach to service delivery. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state you are applying to work or within a commutable distance
  • One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
  • Ability to read and write standard English
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Ability to add and subtract three digit numbers, multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s
  • Ability to perform operations using units of American money
  • Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
  • Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers and clients
  • Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using guest last names
  • Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
  • Practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette
  • Post up in designated areas when not completing tasks
  • Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
  • Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed
  • Open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries
  • Provide guests with information about outlets, meeting rooms and amenities of the facility as well as main attractions in the area
  • Deliver messages, items and guest amenities as requested
  • Shuttle guests to approved places within the location
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival
  • Issue claim checks after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks before issuing keys
  • Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey and claim check receipt
  • Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed
