Job Description
Our client is a specialist construction firm that focuses exclusively on luxury retail interiors. Operating nationwide with a strong presence in the Southeastern United States, this company delivers high-value, design-driven projects for a loyal and repeat clientele. The firm is recognized for its expertise in managing luxury retail projects valued between $1 million and $10 million, catering to high-end clients who expect the utmost quality and attention to detail in construction and interior execution. Their team is lean and collaborative, maintaining efficiency and agility by working fully remote, allowing professionals to operate from their homes while traveling to project sites when required. This remote-first culture provides remarkable flexibility, promoting work-life balance and empowering employees to thrive in their roles.
The role offered is for a Construction Project Manager based in Miami, Florida. This is a permanent, full-time position with a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $125,000 per year plus performance bonuses. The position involves managing multiple interior retail projects with budgets ranging from $1 million up to $10 million. The Project Manager will coordinate all aspects of project delivery including scheduling, budgeting, and subcontractor management to ensure successful completion within established parameters. The role requires reviewing detailed drawings, Requests for Information (RFIs), and submittals using industry-standard software like Procore and Bluebeam. Although the team operates remotely, the Project Manager must be willing and able to travel periodically to project sites for site walks and progress reviews to maintain quality control and client satisfaction.
Key responsibilities also include supporting the estimating and preconstruction phases where needed, contributing to the early stages of project planning and resource allocation. This position demands an individual with 2 to 5 years of construction project management experience, preferably with a background in luxury or high-end retail interiors. The successful candidate will be highly self-motivated, capable of working independently while effectively solving problems as they arise. Familiarity with Procore and Bluebeam construction management tools is essential, and the candidate must demonstrate a willingness to travel regularly to fulfill site visit requirements.
The employment benefits are designed to support employee well-being and job satisfaction, including 100% employer-paid health insurance covering employees and partial coverage for dependents. There is also a flexible Paid Time Off (PTO) policy to accommodate personal needs and lifestyle preferences. The remote work model eliminates commute times, offering significant flexibility while work-related travel expenses such as per diem, company card usage, car rentals, and accommodation costs are fully covered by the employer. The company fosters an inclusive environment and encourages applications from minorities, women, the disabled, protected veterans, and other qualified individuals. This geographically flexible yet demanding role presents an exciting opportunity for growth within a reputable firm specializing in high-end retail construction projects.
