The role of Guest Service Associate at Towne Park involves more than just managing parking logistics—it is about providing an outstanding hospitality experience to every guest. This position demands a blend of courteousness, efficiency, and safety consciousness. The Guest Service Associate is entrusted with parking and retrieving vehicles promptly and safely, assisting with luggage handling including delivery and pick-up during arrivals and departures, and offering additional services that enhance the guest experience. Candidates can expect to work standard shifts that may vary based on hotel business volumes and their availability, with schedules such as 7:00am to 3:00pm, 1:00pm to 9:00pm, 3:00pm to 11:00pm, or 5:00pm to 2:00am.

Towne Park provides competitive hourly compensation ranging from $10 to $13 per hour plus $15 to $17 per hour in tips, emphasizing fairness and commensurate pay for relevant skills, training, and experience. Benefits include eligibility for accident insurance, critical illness insurance, hospital indemnity, telemedicine services, as well as a 401k retirement savings plan, with eligibility contingent on job classification, employment duration, and hours worked. Seasonal or temporary roles do not qualify for these benefits.

The Guest Service Associate must maintain a friendly and professional demeanor at all times, greeting guests warmly and personally using their last names where possible. They must adhere to all Towne Park phone etiquette standards and effectively communicate parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests. Safely operating vehicles with care, the associate performs duties that also include assisting guests with directions, shuttle services, and providing information about local attractions and hotel amenities. This role requires accuracy in managing ticketing procedures, key handling, and revenue collection.

Physical requirements are an integral aspect of this position, demanding stamina and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally, 50 pounds frequently, and 20 pounds constantly. Associates work primarily outdoors and must be prepared to perform their duties in varying weather conditions. Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or general education degree (GED)

  • ability to read and write standard English language
  • ability to read and comprehend simple instructions short correspondence and memos

  • ability to add and subtract three digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s
  • ability to perform these operations using units of American money
  • ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
  • ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
  • ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable

Job Duties

  • maintains pleasant friendly and professional demeanor with all guests co-workers and clients
  • acknowledges and greets guests within five feet with professional and friendly demeanor
  • uses guest last names during interactions
  • uses salutation of the day and welcomes guests to the location
  • practices proper Towne Park phone etiquette
  • posts up in designated areas when not completing tasks
  • parks and retrieves vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
  • assists guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed
  • opens all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • assists guests with directions taxis reservations and other inquiries
  • provides guests with information about outlets meeting rooms and amenities of the facility as well as main attractions in the area
  • delivers messages items and or guest amenities as requested
  • shuttles guests to appropriate places approved by the location
  • explains parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival
  • issues claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys
  • collects claim checks from all guests prior to issuing keys
  • completes and maintains all ticket information including key tag guest folio location of vehicle damage survey and claim check receipt
  • calculates and collects revenue for vehicles when needed
