Job Description
FirstService Residential is a leading property management company committed to delivering exceptional community living experiences through superior service and a resident-focused approach. Specializing in luxury residential property management, FirstService Residential prides itself on fostering safe, vibrant, and highly desirable communities. The company operates with a strong emphasis on professionalism, responsiveness, and innovative solutions tailored to meet the unique needs of each community it manages. With a nationwide presence, FirstService Residential is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for residents by providing comprehensive on-site services and maintaining the highest standards of property care.
The Concierge role at FirstService Residential is essential in creating a welcoming and seamless experience for residents within high-end luxury residential settings. This position is best suited for individuals passionate about people and committed to delivering impeccable customer service under fast-paced and demanding conditions. The concierge acts as a gateway, interacting daily with residents and their guests from diverse backgrounds, requiring not only excellent communication skills but also an unflappable and friendly demeanor.
A FirstService Concierge ensures that every resident’s needs are met promptly and professionally, contributing to a memorable 5-star community-living experience. The role demands a thorough knowledge of local attractions, entertainment, dining options, and special services to provide informed recommendations and solutions. Tasks commonly include making reservations for restaurants, spas, and events, arranging transportation, offering directions, and coordinating community-specific services such as housekeeping or pet care. The concierge serves as a critical liaison between residents and local businesses, cultivating relationships that enrich the resident experience.
In addition to resident interaction, the position requires vigilance and responsibility in monitoring property access and safety through control cameras and visitor management. Administrative duties such as processing mail, completing daily activity reports, and responding to emergencies are integral to maintaining smooth front desk operations. The concierge is expected to uphold company standards for service quality, contribute to training new staff, and consistently present a professional appearance.
This full-time, non-exempt position offers an hourly wage range of $22 to $25, reflecting the expertise and dedication required. Employees benefit from a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid holidays, time off benefits, and a 401k plan with company match options. Occasionally, training-related travel may be necessary. FirstService Residential also provides an equitable hiring process supported by an Automated Employment Decision Tool (AEDT), ensuring objective candidate evaluations based on relevant skills and qualifications.
Overall, the Concierge at FirstService Residential is an ambassador of premium residential living, representing the company through exceptional service, professionalism, and a warm, attentive presence. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in dynamic environments and genuinely enjoy enhancing the day-to-day living experiences of luxury community residents.
