The Concierge role we offer is pivotal in establishing a positive first impression for our community. This position involves serving as a primary touchpoint for residents and visitors, blending customer service with operational support to ensure smooth daily functioning at our front desk area. Available shifts include first shift from 9am to 6pm and second shift from 3pm to 11pm, with weekend availability being mandatory. Compensation ranges from $17.16 to $18.74 per hour and includes a quarterly bonus, reflecting our commitment to reward dedication and high performance.

In this multifaceted role, the concierge greets residents and guests courteously, offering guidance about local attractions and community amenities tailored to enhance their living experience. The role requires managing distribution of brochures, floor plans, and marketing materials, facilitating mini tours, assisting with leasing inquiries during off-hours, and retrieving packages promptly. Additionally, the concierge maintains an inviting lobby environment by stocking informative resources such as magazines, maps, transportation schedules, and menus, ensuring the area is clean, organized, and welcoming.

The successful candidate will leverage their communication skills and problem-solving abilities to resolve minor issues professionally and efficiently while maintaining confidentiality. They act as a liaison between residents, management, vendors, and other external parties to foster productive and courteous interactions. They are responsible for preparing incident reports and adhering conscientiously to fair-housing policies, underpinning our dedication to compliance and ethical standards. Ultimately, this role is central to enhancing resident satisfaction and community engagement through attentive and proactive service.

Job Duties

  • Greet residents and guests courteously as they enter the building
  • provide recommendations to residents on community attractions and local amenities when requested
  • distribute brochures, floor plans, and other collateral to clients
  • complete guest cards, give mini tours, and act on leasing behalf during off-hours
  • retrieve packages for residents
  • provide refreshments to residents and guests
  • maintain the Concierge Binder and ensure the front lobby is stocked with magazines, collateral, maps, transportation schedules, and menus
  • use the internet to provide detailed information to residents and guests
  • keep the front desk, lobby area, and applicable storage closets clean and orderly
  • prepare incident reports and related documentation
  • adhere to established fair-housing policies
  • communicate with co-workers, management, residents, vendors, and external contacts in a courteous and professional manner
  • maintain confidentiality regarding co-workers, management, owners, past and current residents, vendors, and all external contacts
