Job Description
Piedmont Medical Care Corporation is a leading healthcare provider renowned for delivering comprehensive and patient-focused medical services. As part of its commitment to excellence and innovative healthcare solutions, the company specializes in diverse areas including executive health and concierge medicine, aimed at providing customized, high-level care to meet the unique health needs of its patients. Piedmont Medical Care Corporation is distinguished by its dedication to patient satisfaction, quality care, and a supportive work environment that fosters professional growth and development. The organization values professionalism, attention to detail, and a collaborative spirit, ensuring that all its healthcare professionals perform at their best to offer unparalleled care.
The role of a Concierge Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Piedmont Medical Care Corporation is pivotal in supporting the Executive Health and Concierge Medicine practices. This position bridges the gap between clinical and administrative functions, mirroring the responsibilities of a medical assistant but within the scope of an LPN license. The Concierge LPN plays an essential role in maintaining the flow of patient care, facilitating communication between physicians and patients, and supporting the facility’s daily clinical operations. From patient intake to clinical documentation and care coordination, this professional is integral to the smooth operation and high standards of the health services offered.
This role suits individuals who are service-oriented, detail-focused, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-touch healthcare environment. Key responsibilities include receiving patients, obtaining vital signs, medical histories, and medication reconciliations, performing phlebotomy, administering injections and immunizations, as well as conducting EKGs and other clinical procedures. Additionally, the Concierge LPN assists physicians during examinations and procedures and manages patient flow to ensure an exceptional patient experience. Strong communication skills are essential as the role requires conveying results, instructions, medication refills, and physician recommendations effectively to patients.
Documentation and compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA and infection control are critical aspects of the position. The Concierge LPN must maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records, place orders for testing, and assist with prior authorizations and other administrative tasks when necessary. This role also demands a collaborative approach, working closely with physicians, leadership, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver concierge-level patient care characterized by professionalism and responsiveness. The position requires current licensure as an LPN in the state of Georgia or a multistate NLC license and certification in Basic Life Support (BCLS). No previous experience is required, making it an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or individuals seeking to advance their nursing career within a prestigious healthcare setting.
