We are currently seeking an experienced Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our plasma donation center team as a Center Medical Specialist. This position is ideal for nursing professionals who are looking to apply their clinical skills in a dynamic and supportive environment that directly improves the lives of donors and patients globally. The role is based in Shreveport, Louisiana, and offers competitive pay based on licensure and experience. In this position, you will be responsible for performing physical examinations, establishing medical histories, and assessing donor suitability. Responsibilities also include managing adverse events and injuries, providing donor education, and assisting with employee training programs such as the Hepatitis vaccine program. The role requires maintaining strict confidentiality and awareness of potential medical hazards, as well as using both independent judgment and adhering to detailed procedural guidelines.
