The Wellsworth Hotel is seeking an enthusiastic bartender to join its team and contribute to the guest experience by crafting classic and innovative drinks tailored to customers' preferences. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills to ensure every guest enjoys a memorable visit. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in a restaurant setting, though this is preferred and not mandatory, allowing for the development of skills and knowledge in a supportive environment. The bartender will be responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages along with light meals, maintaining cleanliness and stock levels, and adhering to all operational and safety standards. Job Requirements
- Minimum one year of experience in the Restaurant / Food and Beverage field
- Minimum state age requirement to serve alcoholic beverages
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding
- High school graduate or equivalent, some college preferred
- ServSafe and/or food safety training a plus
- Alcohol awareness training such as TIPS
- Familiarity with food and beverage cost controls
- Ability to accurately compute basic mathematical calculations
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
- Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele
Job Qualifications
- Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts
- Ensure compliance with and completion of all daily operational procedures by the Food and Beverage Department
- Maintain food and beverage safety and quality based on hotel and franchise specifications
- Maintain and abide by standards and procedures for operations and safe working conditions in the department
- Responsible for responding and handling guest-related issues pertaining to the department
- Ensure communication with General Manager, all other Department Managers, Supervisors and Staff

Job Duties
- Take orders, prepare, and serve alcoholic, non-alcoholic beverages and light meals to guests, courteously and efficiently according to hotel specifications
- Maintain stock and supplies and cleanliness of outlet and equipment
- Ensure compliance with and completion of all daily operational procedures by the Food and Beverage Department
- Maintain food and beverage safety and quality based on hotel and franchise specifications
- Abide by standards and procedures for operations and safe working conditions in the department
- Respond and handle guest-related issues pertaining to the department
- Ensure communication with General Manager, all other Department Managers, Supervisors and Staff
